Looks like Green Lantern to me....though, you know.......make mine MARVEL (in terms of which comic company I like and follow). I think the thing making him look a bit "off" is his right hand glove looking pinkish, but looking at his other hand, which is white, I'm pretty sure that pinkishness is just the lighting interacting with the material.

It's nice to see The Joker, though it's obviously not a surprise of any kind. Solid design though, I like it. I ...

I can't say I'm interested in either of these games. But what I AM excited for is Guardians of Middle Earth. I read that GoME will also have a "The Hobbit" themed expansion around the time the 1st movie releases.

Well, to be fair, there are MANY articles posted on N4G that imo are plagarising other website's work. How many articles come up on here just in the PS3 section alone, that take quotes garnered from PlayStation Blog interviews and developer replies as the basis of their stories while giving not actual credit for the info to the PSBlog? It's quite a few. As a daily PSBlog visitor, multiple time a week I seen an article on here and think "they just stole that from the PSBlog",...

Exactly. I was going to point out some of that stuff, but you summed it up pretty nicely.

All the other bad-ass Marines were all the other players in the world, who you could play with or against online. But even those players really weren't the only soldiers.

The basic grunt, shotgun guy and chain gun guy were clearly all human soldiers who were "posessed" durring battle. Remember, there were dead bodies all over these levels before you even st...

@eejlp

ahhh, I missed that "ps3 version on 2 and 3. My bad. If those are accurate file sizes for the PS3 versions discs, then my math is off and the numbers for 2 and 3 wouldn't need to be doubled. But I'm not sure if those ARE 100% accurate because those file sizes match the PSN digal version sizes of 2 and 3. I'd like to know if that data is based on the PSN sizes (which wouldn't have to be doubled up) , or if they're official disc data numbers. (an...

physical and digital. pick your poison. just a little info for you though. If you're planning on a Day 1 purchase for this game and you're a Plus member, there's a 10% discount. It's not huge, but every little bit helps these days. And it's a bit more savings if you live in a tax-free-on-internet-purchases -state.

The player count in each game? Or the player count on the servers?

If you mean in each game, I ASSURE you it's not the massive 256 players in a game, like MAG's largest mode. It's a more "normal" number. I honestly havn't paid any attention to the max player counts in each game though. I do think, like MAG, it varies depending on the mode. I think currently it's 24 players in the biggest mode, and I believe I read they're shooting for 32 in t...

Yup. OOOOOoooo, BURN!!!

$15 too. Not too bad of a price considering it's getting some improvements.

Hmmmmm.....disagrees when my facts are right on. Interesting. Anyone care to fill me in on what part of that I'm wrong about? Sounds like you people are 1) uninformed gamers and 2) just want to be mad at something and complain (it's the internet.....surprise, surprise !!! lol).

It's a fact, sorry folks. And it's not like I'm bashing PS3 here. It's my console of choice. The reality is, the Mass Effect Trilogy would NOT fit on a 50 Gb Blu-Ray disc, becau...

Well, since I don't have a 3-D TV, I just hope it runs well in general. Though I'm confident that it will run great. RAGE "ran" great. The only issue it had was the megatextures, which to be fair was a problem on all but the highest end PCs. (or actually, there are no texture streaming problems even on PS3 IF you are actually rich enough to have a solid state HDD in your PS3)

DOOM 3 doesn't have megatextures, so I expect it to run flawlessly.

@pcps3gamer
While you're right on the most basic level that all 3 games could fit on a single dual-layer Blu-Ray disc........you're actually wrong in thinking that the games would work properly with all 3 games on a single 50Gb Blu-Ray. Here's why.......

Blu-Ray diodes, particularly the older version in PS3, are notoriously slow readers being that they're single speed. Even on a single layer 25Gb disc. To make up for that slow read speed, and you can l...

This preview must be WAAAAYYY out of date, or was using a REEEAAAALLY early build. I'm not sure why a preview of this game would have to be based on such an old build that it's textures "are some of the worst this gen" and the character "had no hands" and the game had "horrible framerate drops".

Maybe this author needs to actually play the beta. The framerate is solid, I CERTAINLY have hands, and the graphics are just about on par with ...

What is your point......Live Gold is also a perpetual rental service. You pay that subscription to rent the online portions of Xbox games. If your sub lapses, you can no longer play your games online. It's that simple. All it's other features are just fluff because they can be accessed on other devices for free.

Also, game trials have been included with Plus since day1, that's not new. And what I find inconcievable is that you think there'...

I agree with you except on one point.

I believe if a developer is "good" enough, and dedicated enough, there doesn't even need to be a balance struck between graphics and split-screen. Killzone 3 is the ultimate example of that this hardware generation. It is the #1 most graphically intensive game this console generation thus far, and sacrifices none of the textures, lighting, physics, particles or A.I. in split-screen.

The developers just gotta...

I'm personally not a fan of split-screen gaming. Never have been and I've been a gamer since the early days of console gaming (well, not EARLY days, but pre-NES). It just always gives me a headache with the shrunken screen and other movement on the screen not related to my movements. Split-screen is just NOT for me (though I must say the PlayStation 3-D monitor/screen dealie could completely change that for me since it gives you your own screen ostesibly).

All that be...

Awww, man.......it's SOOOO nice to hear words about the PS3 version. I am PRAYING to the gaming gods that I get in this beta. I bought FF13 on launch night, and before I even fired up the game, I went online and registered the FF14 beta access application that came with the game. The deal at the time was, FF13 buyers were getting priority.........I wonder if, with basically all new people running the FF14 show over there, they are still going to honor that deal? That was a publisher promi...

Insomniac is the dev and EA is the publisher and the IP is original. These parties would have no issues of any kind over a trailer.

This was OBVIOUSLY cause by the person who's ALWAYS the cause of "last minute legal rights issues": the music "artists".
